Born in Wisconsin but raised in Birmingham, our pastor is a graduate of Huffman High School and Samford University with a Major in Religion and a Minor in Psychology. He has served in churches both full time and part-time, including Roebuck Park Baptist Church (now North Park Baptist church), Second Baptist Church of Griffin Georgia as the student pastor and then as the associate pastor, and most recently, Double Oak Community Church as the Pastor of Discipleship. He has also worked in sales, computer programming, and as the Vice President of a robotics company. He and his wife Tammy have three children, Crystal, Nicholle, and Ian. Our pastor also writes a devotional blog.
Glenn is a graduate of Samford University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He returned to Birmingham five years ago. He is married to Darlene, his wife of 20 years, and has two children, Elise (13) and Nathan (11). He has been involved in church leadership as a pastor in the area of worship for over 20 years.
Pastor to Students
Trey is a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelors of arts in philosophy and has attended Southern Baptist Theological Seminary toward a Master of Divinity. He and his wife Catherine are passionate about student ministry, and have a great love for how the gospel impacts every aspect of their lives.
Art was born and raised in Birmingham. He attended UAB. He worked at Alabama Power Company, but has spent most of his career as a Mortgage Broker. He retired in 2014 to spend more time in ministry work at Chelsea Creek. Art and his wife Carie have been married for 23 years. They have 5 adult children and 8 grandchildren. Art is active in Recovery at the Creek, does lay counseling and is our Pastor of Teams.
Carie is a graduate of the University of Montevallo in Business. She worked at BellSouth for 22 years as a programmer and Staff Analyst. She is married to Art, her husband of 23 years. They have 5 children and 8 grandchildren. Carie is also the Co-Ministry leader at Recovery at the Creek.
